Yukiko Ichishima

Associate Director

Based at Yale University, Yukiko (Kiko) Ichishima brings her extensive project management experience to help manage various aspects of the ELTI program.

Yukiko graduated from the Yale School of the Environment in 2006 with a Master of Environmental Management, focusing on water science, policy and management. She has a strong background in environmental consulting: 12 years with Tetra Tech, consulting for the U.S. EPA on nutrient-related science and the implementation of the Clean Water Act; and nearly two years with Japan NUS in Tokyo, conducting environmental due diligence assessments of projects in developing countries. Yukiko has over eight years of experience managing projects and teams and enjoys meeting and working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
