Mabel Ludka

Brazil Program Assistant, IPÊ

Based at the Institute for Ecological Research - IPÊ, Brazil, Mabel has been with ELTI since October 2023.

Before joining ELTI, she worked in environmental and educational consulting, non-profit organizations, and the public sector, holding positions as an environmental analyst and park manager. Mabel holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Federal Fluminense University in Rio de Janeiro, with a research focus on the Management Effectiveness of Protected Areas. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences - Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with experience in plant ecology and in environmental education outreach. Mabel's work is centered around Protected Areas and environmental education, particularly in the Atlantic Forest and coastal ecosystems.
