Summary
The Productive Systems for Forest Landscape Restoration online short course (previously titled Productive Recovery) is offered through the partnership between the Environmental Leadership and Training Initiative at the Yale School of the Environment (ELTI-Yale) and the Institute for Ecological Research (IPÊ), in collaboration with the National Program for Initial and Continuing Education in Ecosystem Restoration (Dispersar), of the Brazilian Society for Ecological Restoration (SOBRE).
The course will run from March 23 to April 30, 2026, and will be offered free of charge. Its goal is to expand the technical knowledge of professionals and practitioners involved in the environmental restoration chain. Grounded in scientific principles, it showcases examples of productive systems that can contribute to transforming rural landscapes into Biodiversity Corridors.
This six-week training is designed for professionals working in the restoration field within the Central Atlantic Forest Corridor, which includes the state of Espírito Santo and the southern region of Bahia, Brazil. It includes 30 hours of training, combining asynchronous content with four live sessions. Eighty spots will be offered, and registration will be open from January 26 to February 13, through a link available on the IPÊ website, social media channels, and also on this page. The course will be delivered in Portuguese.
O curso online de curta duração “Sistemas Produtivos para a Restauração de Paisagens Florestais” (anteriormente intitulado “Recuperação Produtiva”) é oferecido por meio da parceria entre a Environmental Leadership and Training Initiative da Yale School of the Environment (ELTI-Yale) e o IPÊ - Instituto de Pesquisas Ecológicas, em colaboração com o Programa Nacional de Formação Inicial e Continuada em Restauração de Ecossistemas (Dispersar), da Sociedade Brasileira de Restauração Ecológica (SOBRE).
O curso será realizado de 23 de março a 30 de abril de 2026 e será oferecido gratuitamente. Seu objetivo é ampliar o conhecimento técnico de profissionais envolvidos na cadeia de restauração ambiental. Fundamentado em princípios científicos, apresenta exemplos de sistemas produtivos que podem contribuir para transformar paisagens rurais em Corredores de Biodiversidade.
Esta capacitação de seis semanas é voltada para profissionais que atuam na área de restauração na região de abrangência do Corredor Central da Mata Atlântica, que inclui o estado do Espírito Santo e a região sul da Bahia, Brasil. Possui 30 horas de formação, combinando conteúdos assíncronos com quatro sessões ao vivo. Serão oferecidas 80 vagas, e as inscrições estarão abertas de 26 de janeiro a 13 de fevereiro, por meio de um link disponível no site do IPÊ, nas redes sociais e também nesta página. A capacitação será ministrada em português.
