Introducing Beekeeping Cultivation As An Alternative Livelihood (Online Training)
Summary
Indonesia has about 40 species of stingless bees, most of which can be managed to produce honey. Honey production is recognized as one of the best economic opportunities for people living in forest area. Honey, like other non-timber forest products, can help forest-dependent people gain direct economic value from the forest without significantly damaging it. This online course aims to provide participants with the knowledge needed to begin engaging in stingless bee keeping and honey production.
