Rainforestation Network Forum

This one-day workshop brought together key organizations interested or actively working on “Rainforestation” (native trees species reforestation) in the Philippines, to discuss opportunities for conducting further training and outreach activities to motivate application. Participants identified existing obstacles to the use of native species in reforestation, assessed additional training needs, and formulated a broader multi-organization strategy for scaling up the program in the country. This workshop was held as a follow-up to two previous field-based courses that ELTI held on “rainforestation” with partner, Visayas State University (VSU).
