Second Annual Forest Landscape Restoration Symposium and Reception
Summary
This event is the second annual symposium and reception intended to bring together alumni of ELTI courses based in East and Central Africa as well as forest restoration (natural forest, ANR, agroforestry, etc.) practitioners, students, researchers, and professionals to engage with ELTI’s field-based training model and learn from FLR experts and emerging professionals in implementing restoration interventions. This event provides the opportunity to engage with Yale faculty and ELTI staff and to connect ELTI course alumni with each other and the community of practice in Rwanda and throughout the region.
Content
This event will feature a series of lecture-style and interactive sessions by leading experts in forest restoration and conservation from Rwanda and from Yale School of Environment as well as ELTI alumni leading sustainable land use initiatives.
Networking and reception with light dinner will follow.
