Summary
With my outmost interest and concern in helping our community, I want to implement an expand a 1.2 hectare rainforestation demonstration site featuring different species of native fruit and timber trees. My main goal is to increase the number of people in Pilar who will be interested to adopt Rainforestation and bring back the native species that were once found in the Island.
With my passion and interest to help Pilar by increasing the number of native tree species that will help in mitigating the changing climate and offer an area to student residing or not in the island for research. The project will last of a year starting this January 2018, but will continue under the land owner's management for another 5 years. With the increased awareness of people on Rainforestation and stronger link with the local government unit, we can ensure the protection and success of this project.
