Resource Description
This article synthesizes capacity-building themes and strategies for approaches to sustainable development, specifically related to forestry, restoration, agriculture, and other forms of land
management. The article also presents three case studies of organizations using capacity-building initiatives for sustainable land management. This article is published in the Journal of Sustainable Forestry as part of a special issue based on the 2016 Yale International Society of Tropical Foresters Conference,"Tropical Forests for Sustainable Development: Shaping our Post-2015 Future with Knowledge from the Field."
